Thank you so much for the ability to stream Mystery Train Radio here in the US. I was introduced to the radio station by a friend and it is my now my favorite listening option whenever I get the opportunity. You offer a great variety of music, genres, and opportunities to learn about artists that I have not heard before as well as the ability to bask in the memories of great tunes when I hear them again - and, all without the advertising frequently on US stations. Made a donation a few minutes ago. Keep the train rolling. Susan

Hi Susan! Please thank your friend for the recommendation 🙂 We're thrilled to hear you've been enjoying the music so much! Many thanks for the kind words and for the kind donation. This will help us to pay on-going licence fees and keep this train rolling! Feel free to let us know about music recommendations going forward as we're always interested in those. Thanks again. All the best from MTRHQ.
Please wait...

  1. Thanks for the music tonight Alex. Please take care of yourself as you take care of your family. Ed

    1. Thanks Ed. Your email to the studio got to me late… but managed to read out the fact you enjoyed the Judy Collins track 🙂 Thanks tons for tuning in and I trust the ribs and yard bird tasted mighty fine! 🙂

    Hi

Just wanted to say “Wow!” What a brilliant station! Discovered you via the Radio Garden App by just having a look around the stations and you appeared and I just love what I’m hearing!

And I’m nearby on the edge of the Cotswolds in Evesham…

You got yourself another listener and I’ll be recommending you to my friends…?

    Andy

    1. Isn’t Radio Garden a neat app Andrew! The only problem is we find as a station it doesn’t work all the time. Service can be unreliable. See a full list of reliable apps @ http://www.mysterytrainradio.com/listen/. Thrilled you found us by chance or by searching for stations locally(ish). Thanks so much for spreading the word about MTR 🙂 Feel free to let us know about the music you particularly enjoy hearing or artists you enjoy generally. Thanks again for the message here… lovely to have you aboard! 🙂

  3. Thought I need to pass this on to you – John Kilzer passed away suddenly today in Memphis, Tennessee. John was a singer songwriter, a Methodist pastor, and a true helping hand to recovering addicts in the Memphis area. You folks in the U.K. seemed to appreciate his early rock and roll work than the majority of the USA. He was well known to Memphis musicians.

    1. Oh Ed. So sorry to hear this news! We’d only discovered John’s music relatively recently. A track or 2 is played out regularly as part of our playlist of songs – these being aired throughout the day – and I know Alex has played a song of John’s on his show. We were aware of John’s association and love for Memphis and his desire to help others in need. Please accept our deepest condolences at this sad time.
