Alex. Just for once, hoping to listen live this week and will be actually on a train travelling from the Arctic Circle to Helsinki with my good friend Phil Clasper. Hoping the wi Fi on the train is good! As you know I always enjoy the Sunday show. Missing Album day at Badlands unfortunately. It takes a lot to laugh, a train to cry.,, Rich

Hey... thanks tons Peter!!! Totally thrilled you're enjoying the selection of programs and music MTR airs! I guess the station should carry a warning about the amount of good music it shares given the issues you're experiencing with your bank balance 😉 We will consider that and get back to you! ;). Thanks for sharing the love here 🙂

If Carlsberg did radio stations ………………...you know the rest. Brilliant selection of music , presenters, artists. Really does get you through the day and night. My only criticism is my bank balance is reducing from all the new music I have purchased. Keep em coming. Cheers Pete

Yet ANOTHER amazing show (8/26/18) on the Mystery Train Radio Show!! 1. Thanks for the music tonight Alex. Please take care of yourself as you take care of your family. Ed

    1. Thanks Ed. Your email to the studio got to me late… but managed to read out the fact you enjoyed the Judy Collins track 🙂 Thanks tons for tuning in and I trust the ribs and yard bird tasted mighty fine! 🙂

    Hi

Just wanted to say “Wow!” What a brilliant station! Discovered you via the Radio Garden App by just having a look around the stations and you appeared and I just love what I’m hearing!

And I’m nearby on the edge of the Cotswolds in Evesham…

You got yourself another listener and I’ll be recommending you to my friends…?

    Andy

    1. Isn’t Radio Garden a neat app Andrew! The only problem is we find as a station it doesn’t work all the time. Service can be unreliable. See a full list of reliable apps @ http://www.mysterytrainradio.com/listen/. Thrilled you found us by chance or by searching for stations locally(ish). Thanks so much for spreading the word about MTR 🙂 Feel free to let us know about the music you particularly enjoy hearing or artists you enjoy generally. Thanks again for the message here… lovely to have you aboard! 🙂

  3. Thought I need to pass this on to you – John Kilzer passed away suddenly today in Memphis, Tennessee. John was a singer songwriter, a Methodist pastor, and a true helping hand to recovering addicts in the Memphis area. You folks in the U.K. seemed to appreciate his early rock and roll work than the majority of the USA. He was well known to Memphis musicians.

    1. Oh Ed. So sorry to hear this news! We’d only discovered John’s music relatively recently. A track or 2 is played out regularly as part of our playlist of songs – these being aired throughout the day – and I know Alex has played a song of John’s on his show. We were aware of John’s association and love for Memphis and his desire to help others in need. Please accept our deepest condolences at this sad time.

    1. Great to hear you heard of us through the ‘Putumayo World Music’ facebook page Maria! It’s a brilliant to share this fantastic program with the listeners of ‘Mystery Train Radio’. We are very happy to hear you have been enjoying the music :))) All the best.
