Just for once, hoping to listen live this week and will be actually on a train travelling from the Arctic Circle to Helsinki with my good friend Phil Clasper. Hoping the wi Fi on the train is good! As you know I always enjoy the Sunday show.
Missing Album day at Badlands unfortunately.

I guess the station should carry a warning about the amount of good music it shares given the issues you're experiencing with your bank balance 😉 We will consider that and get back to you! ;). If Carlsberg did radio stations ………………...you know the rest. Brilliant selection of music , presenters, artists. Really does get you through the day and night. My only criticism is my bank balance is reducing from all the new music I have purchased. Keep em coming. Cheers Pete

Yet ANOTHER amazing show (8/26/18) on the Mystery Train Radio Show!! As always MANY thanks for the shout-out Alex, and for featuring so many amazing artists (there is always someone new for me to discover), including featuring some GREAT Canadian treasures (e.g., Great Lake Swimmers this week). I know I'm always trying to catch up from the caboose, but I think I'm up to date again!!
Radio just doesn't get better than this!! Cheers mate and thanks for making radio worth listening to!!!!

Thought I need to pass this on to you – John Kilzer passed away suddenly today in Memphis, Tennessee. John was a singer songwriter, a Methodist pastor, and a true helping hand to recovering addicts in the Memphis area. You folks in the U.K. seemed to appreciate his early rock and roll work than the majority of the USA. He was well known to Memphis musicians.
Oh Ed. So sorry to hear this news! We’d only discovered John’s music relatively recently. A track or 2 is played out regularly as part of our playlist of songs – these being aired throughout the day – and I know Alex has played a song of John’s on his show. We were aware of John’s association and love for Memphis and his desire to help others in need. Please accept our deepest condolences at this sad time.
